I was offered the chance to write a song for a Womens ACTS Retreat! thanks be to God! This is the first time one of the women’s groups has opened the door for me. Their theme is “I Am With You Always” (Mt 28:20) Jesus’ last words prior to His Ascension in the Gospel of Matthew. well, this MP3 sounds great through my headphones but I am not so certain about your MP3 Player or your computer speakers. The Directors of the St. Edith Stein (Katy, Texas) Mens ACTS 2011 Retreat have embraced my offering to them, “I Will Come To You”, as the retreat theme song! Thanks be to God! Enjoy it right here – now – I Will Come to You

The Directors of the St. Joseph Parish, Baytown, Mens ACTS Retreat have embraced the song they asked me to write for them around the theme of the Feast of the Baptism of Jesus. They are using Matthew 3:17 “This is my beloved Son with whom I am well pleased”. Their new theme song is entitled  We Had Come Only to See John Enjoy this quickie MP3!

We sang it together yesterday and they loved it! Thanks be to God for His wonderful blessings!

May I write a theme song for your next retreat?

Let me write a one for you as I ‘ve done for St. John Vianney (Follow Me, John 21:19 and Feed My Lambs, John 20:21) and for St. Justin Martyr (Hear and Understand, Mark 7:14) Mens ACTS Retreats in Houston in 2008, 2009, and 2010, and, now, for St. Joseph Mens ACTS (Baytown). It is such a blessing to have 75 men and their wives and families singing joyfully and powerfully of their love for each other and for God.

Although, I have not yet had the pleasure of writing a theme song for a Womens ACTS Retreat, I hope to soon. If you don’t like what I write for you, of course, you don’t have to use it. But, please let me try – at no cost to you. God has blessed me with this wonderful gift and with the desire to serve others with it.
