Sergio Helms is back in the hospital for treatment for his original problem which may have brought on the meningitis in the first place. Please proay for his healing.

Prayers for Larry, Tim, Daniel, Tammy Lynn, Tammy, Margaret, Doc,  Deborah Guidry, Debbie Fusilier, Bill, and Ann Michelle as they each need physical healing.

Praises God and thanks to Him for hearing our prayers for Ann Michelle. Although she has a long way to go, her latest treatments have reduced the tumors by at least 10% and this is the first time any treatment has shown promise. Please keep this sweet young lady in your prayers.

Please pray for a long-married couple, fine, blessed people, who are having marital problems. Please ask God to give them the grace to be open to each other, to listen, to admit, to ask forgiveness, and to rekindle their love. God knows who these folks are.

Please pray for completion of Sr. Kay’s Arms of Jesus Chapel in the Philippines.

Your prayers are requested for Brother Daniel. God knows the reasons. And, for Sr. Barbara’s safe journey to visit and to pray with him.

My ACTS Brother, Sergio, has come down with meningitis which they seem to have traced back to the listeria problem. Please pray for the healing of this good Catholic husband, father, brother, veteran!

Brent needs our prayers for healing. He has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and is being scheduled for surgery as soon as possible.

Paula was relased from the hospital, yesterday. Thank you for your prayers! I will give an update on her condition when I hear from Charles! Praises to our God! Thank you for your mercy and compassion, Lord!

Thanks, too, to God for answering our prayers that Hurricane Irene would downgrade before it hit the coast! We do need to pray for all those people who lost so much due to the heavy rains and flooding.

May We be spared the 10 – 15 inches of rain that is predicted from Tropical Storm Lee as it approaches the Gulf Coast.

Pray for the people of Libya that in their reverie they will not forget to forgive and to be aware of the sanctity of human life although their prior leader had little such compassion and awareness.

May God guide the leadership in Syria and the dissenters there that they might find an acceptable middle ground for the sake of their nation and its people.

We have abandoned God and have focused on our own selves – our rights, our needs, how people have hurt me, etc. We have forgotten what the Gospel tell us today, i.e., that there are only two important laws: “Love God with your whole heart, soul, and  mind.” and “Love you neighbor as yourself.” (Mt 22: 34-40). Our focus is God and we serve God by serving one another.

Please, our children are being scandalized with every new movie, video game,  and fashion and their parents are allowing this error to persist! Parents, we are responsible for the proper upbringing of our children! By allowing them to do what “everyone else is doing”, we are letting them choose between right and wrong without guidance and maturity. Their wrong-doing will fall upon our heads!

I submitted my first effort at a theme song for a Womens ACTS Retreat. Please pray that they will find it suitable and that it enables the participants to come closer to our God. And, thank God with me for giving me the opportunity to serve these women in this way.

God is so good! Just got notified that I passed my final exam and completed all the requirements for my Masters Degree in Psychology, Organizational Leadership! Hooray! Thank you, Lord!

Spoke to my sister, Kay, by Skype today. She looks great! Please keep her in your prayers as she heals up and gets better!

Please say a prayer for our son who got some mediocre news regarding his heart condition last week. May God give him the grace to trust and to lay alll his anxieties at the foot of the Father’s Throne!

Praises and thanks to God for a very good first ministry meeting with the inmates of the Acadia Parish Jail! Fr. ill heard confessions. Zubaida passed out Bibles and prayer cards. I led the guys in singing – 39 inmates and 4 guards! One of the inmates read the Gospel for his brothers. Yesterday was from Matthew 5 about leaving your gift at the altar to rebuild your relationship with your brother! Wow! One inmate sang a solo of Amazing Grace as God gave it to him in prison! What a blessing!

Prayers, please, for one inmate who had a bad back. We prayed over him. And asked for God’s healing!

Praises and thanks for Sr. Kay’s reception in the Philippines! Simply awesome!

Praises and thanks to God that Kay received my edits of her new book before it went to the printer (who is printing for the least cost possible!). And, Kay liked the edits! She has already sold 150 of her first printing and it is not even off the presses, yet!

Suzanne had several kidney stones removed yesterday and have some small ones she has to pass-is in much pain
